Emma Karlsson (born 1998) is a photographer based in New York City specializing in fine art street photography. Photographing since childhood, her mission with her work is to bring viewers back to the present moment, to expand their perception on the depth and character that each second can hold. A child’s smile, a glance from a stranger, a crying embrace in the distance. Emma aims to subvert the expectations of the genre of street photography, bringing a sense of softness and whimsy through her natural artistic eye.
