Washington Square
Pictures from my first month of shooting medium format film. I was in my second year of art school, and felt deeply immersed in my life in the heart of Greenwich Village. I look back on these photos as a time capsule to that beautiful time in my young adult life.

Surrealism
Digital images in which I leaned heavily into Photoshop manipulation of light and color.

Pictures of God
As someone who was raised Catholic, I have been working on repairing my god-image to one of an unforgiving man in the sky to an omniprescent force of nature around me. A spot of sunlight in the field, a wave crashing on the shore, a leaf rustling in the wind. It is important for me to remove organized religion from my perception of god, and to live in reverence of the spirituality all around me.

The Nearest Faraway Place
I am currently working my day job in the heart of tourism in NYC: the Penn Station/MSG area. I am surrounded by wealthy tourists spending thousands to walk the streets I see at every day. Simultaneously, I am surrounded by minimum wage laborers who barely make ends meet by working to maintain the Disneyland-esque appearance of privately owned areas of the city. I am interested in capturing the dichotomy between these two worlds and highlighting the amusement park nature that some parts of NYC have come to uphold.
