Walking along the trail in Fort Tryon Park, I was graced with the sight of this one single pink azalea bush surrounded by green trees. It stopped me in my tracks, practically begging me to take a picture. I obeyed! I really love this photograph, it’s so representative of spring in New York: looking for moments of beauty among the sameness of the surroundings.
Shot on medium format Kodak Gold 200 film.
